Paul Slippery (Hugh Laurie), a forty-something doctor, lives with his wife Estelle and three sex-obsessed sons Rory, Daniel and Edwin in the west London suburb of Putney. On top of coping with family pressures and a mid-life crisis, Paul discovers his unusual ability to hear other peoples' inner thoughts.。物語は前編『イツワリノウタヒメ』エンディングの3か月後から始まる。回想シーンを除けばほぼ完全新作の作画によるオリジナルストーリーでクライマックスへと進行し、戦闘・歌・恋愛・謀略といった要素が目まぐるしく展開する。。
