作品的故事设定在现今的21世纪，猫神茧与普通人类柚子一起生活。柚子的父母因为意外生亡，所以柚子从小便一人继承了古董店“八百万堂”。而在这寄居的茧，虽然是负责守护被遗忘的万物和记忆的神明，但在作品中只是一个只顾吃、喝、玩及睡的猫神。在作品中，除了茧外，也将会有很多很多不同的各式神明陆续登场，热热闹闹地交织出一部轻松的喜剧。。呈现八年前这群大学生的年少轻狂，以及八年后受到网络媒体盛行，影响了他们之间的情感与连结，以主角们八年前后的时空交错下，发展出刻骨铭心的爱情。。A group of five young friends travel from Los Angeles to exotic Panama for a week of partying in lush tropical paradise.
