1950年抗美援朝战争打响。在淮水河畔的沈家大院里，以卖水谋生的梁大爷和邻居们正在为儿子梁刚去前线抗美援朝送行。 梁刚走后，大杂院的人在平静的生活里也慢慢冰释前嫌了众多的矛盾。一天，梁刚牺牲的消息搅动了大院的平静，为了不让梁家夫妇太过受打击，大家努力地隐瞒着....... ..。Since the uprising of a pro-Russian insurgency in eastern Ukraine in 2014, hundreds of women joined the army. Only a few made it to the front line. Filmmaker Masha embeds herself in the war zone to follow the daily life of the three of them.。
